Blenders with food debris, raw food stored above lard at Phoenix area restaurants

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Every week, Arizona’s Family looks up restaurants recently inspected by Maricopa County’s Environmental Services Department. Restaurants with some of the highest numbers of “risk factors,” considered major health code violations by inspectors, are selected for our Dirty Dining Report. Here are the Valley restaurants that did not make the grade for January 15, 2025:

Kungfu Noodles- 1845 E Broadway Rd, Tempe

3 violations

• Raw eggs stored over cooked beef
• Beef soup not kept hot enough
• 2 knives stored with food debris

Panchakattu - 5865 W Ray Rd, Chandler

3 violations

• Employee beverages above prep area
• Worker dried hands on apron
• Raw chicken stored above flour

Bahama Buck’s Shaved Ice - 2235 S Power Rd #111, Mesa

3 violations

• Blenders stored with food debris
• Whipped topping on countertop out of temperature
• Sanitizer bucket not used correctly

Chilaquiles Modern Kitchen - 830 W Southern Ave, Mesa

3 violations

• No certified food manager on site
• Dishwasher handling dirty dishes, then clean dishes
• Raw marinated ceviche stored above lard

Black Rock Coffee Bar - 2725 E McKellips Rd, Mesa

5 major violations

• No certified food manager on duty
• Worker not washing hands properly
• Trash can blocking hand wash sink
• Black matter build up on ice machine
• Milk products sitting out on counter
