PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Every week, Arizona’s Family looks up restaurants recently inspected by Maricopa County’s Environmental Services Department. Restaurants with some of the highest numbers of “risk factors,” considered major health code violations by inspectors, are selected for our Dirty Dining Report. Here are the Valley restaurants that did not make the grade for May 29, 2024:

Gilligan’s On Chandler ― 1105 W Chandler Blvd, Chandler

3 violations

• Cleaning chemicals near food trays
• Open package of hot dogs without date mark
• Excessive build-up at self service coffee area

Rosati’s Pizza ― 53 N Val Vista Drive, Gilbert

3 violations

• Black, fuzzy organic growth on pasta
• Dishwasher not cleaning properly
• Cooked sausage and meatballs not stored at proper temperature

Local Legends/Slaughter House USA ― 7303 E Main Street, Mesa

4 violations

• Chili and ground beef not kept hot enough
• Liquid egg not kept cold enough
• Bag of corned beef kept past discard date
• Container of salsa not date marked

S’Barro - Arizona Mills Mall ― 5000 S Arizona Mills Circle, Tempe

4 violations

• Employee touched face then handled food
• Raw eggs stored on top of potatoes
• Cheese not kept cold enough
• Pizzas on counter not marked properly for how long they are sitting out
