Arizona beats Auburn in play-in game at NCAA women’s tournament

STORRS, Conn. (13 News) - Arizona beat Auburn 69-59 in a play-in game at the NCAA women’s basketball tournament on Thursday, March 21.
Jada Williams scored a game-high 17 points for the Wildcats, Helena Pueyo added 16 points and Esmery Martinez had 14 points and seven rebounds.
Honesty Scott-Grayson led Auburn with 13 points.
Arizona will face No. 6 Syracuse in a first-round game on Saturday. Tip-off is 12:30 p.m. and the game will be on ESPN2.
