Road closed in Scottsdale in preparation for WM Phoenix Open
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Drivers in the East Valley will have to avoid a road closure this week as officials prepare for the start of the WM Phoenix Open next week.
Starting Jan. 27, Greenway Hayden Loop will be closed between Bell Road and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard.
The closure is aimed at helping streamline tournament entry and improve crowd flow.
Drivers should plan ahead or find an alternate route when accessing the tournament area.

The first round of the tournament is set for Thursday, Feb. 6.
Last week, participants were announced for the Annexus Pro-Am event at the WM Phoenix Open.
