PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Baseball season is upon us in the Valley of the Sun! Here’s where and how you can see your favorite teams across the Phoenix area.

How long does Spring Training run?

Spring Training kicked off on Thursday, February 20 and runs until March 25. There are at least 4-8 games per day (even weekdays), so you can catch your favorite team any time of the week.

Some games, even on weekends, begin around 1 p.m., so don’t be late! However if that’s too early for your schedule, there are a few evening games you can catch each week. Check the full Cactus League schedule here.

How much are tickets?

Tickets range depending on which team you’re seeing and the matchups. Lawn seating generally run in the $20 range, while other seats range between $40 to over $100. Note that some stadiums have upper and lower deck seating, which may affect ticket prices. Find tickets to all games here.

Where are Cactus League stadiums located?

Cactus League houses 10 baseball stadiums across the Phoenix metro area. Whether you live in the West Valley, East Valley or central Phoenix, you can see plenty of action on the field. Most stadiums house two teams, but some have their own stadium.

What moves have the Diamondbacks made this offseason?

The Diamondbacks are looking to punch their ticket back to the postseason after just missing it last season. Last year, the team faltered down the home stretch of the season, missing out on the Wild Card spot. They finished 89–73, third in the NL West behind the Dodgers and Padres.

The Diamondbacks made a blockbuster deal in the offseason to help boost their pitching rotation by adding 4x All-Star pitcher Corbin Burnes. The ex-Baltimore Orioles starter signed the Diamondbacks’ biggest deal in franchise history — a 6-year, $210 million contract. The deal surpassed Zack Greinke’s previous 6-year, $206.5 million contract.

Josh Naylor was also traded to the D-backs from the Cleveland Guardians, filling the much-needed first baseman role. The team lost Christian Walker in the offseason after he signed a 3-year deal with the Houston Astros.

Joc Pederson’s bat is also out of the lineup this year, as he joined the Texas Rangers in the offseason.

The team added another arm to the bullpen, signing right-hander Kendall Graveman to a 1-year contract from the Houston Astros.

Two familiar faces will be back this year. The team resigned shortstop Geraldo Perdomo and outfielder Randal Grichuk. Perdomo was resigned to a 4-year contract extension through 2029, while Grichuk signed a 1-year deal to stay with the team.
