Cardinals at 49ers could be hottest game ever at Levi’s Stadium
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — You might have already heard that Arizona State could play in one of the hottest football games ever at its stadium, but the Arizona Cardinals may be playing in some record heat as well.
The forecast for the 1:05 p.m. kickoff at Levi’s Stadium in the San Francisco Bay Area is 91 degrees.

If this forecast verifies, it would be the hottest kickoff temperature ever recorded at Levi’s Stadium. The current record-holding dates are actually tied at 87 degrees, shown below.

That might not seem hot for those of us that live in Arizona, but that is quite hot for northern California.
Levi’s Stadium is in Santa Clara, California, but it’s tough to find a deep set of weather records for Santa Clara, so we tracked temps using nearby San Jose instead.
San Jose reached 106 degrees on Wednesday, which was the highest temperature it ever recorded in the month of October. It’s a good thing there’s a few days between then and when the Cardinals take the field.
