PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The wife of Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal is sounding off on disrespect shown to her family by a Suns fan, including heckling that made their young son cry.

With the NBA trade deadline looming, Beal’s name is often mentioned in possible scenarios. Phoenix has been called a possible landing spot for Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler, who asked for a trade and was recently suspended by the team for the third time this year.

While it’s yet to be seen if Beal will be moved, his wife, Kamiah Adams-Beal, hopes fans end the “disrespect” recently shown to her family.

Adams-Beal posted on social media that a Suns fan was heckling her husband for a whole game.

She said she sent her kids away in the third quarter of the game due to the disrespect being shown. But when they returned in the fourth quarter, the fan screamed several profanities centered around trading Beal.

She said this caused her 6-year-old son to cry and ask why someone would say that to his dad.

Beal-Adams said security then intervened in the situation.

“Athletes are human,” she said in her post. “They have families. Be a fan, but keep it respectful.”
