PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Phoenix Mercury aren’t done wheeling and dealing this offseason.

Days after reportedly agreeing to a trade, Phoenix has acquired another All-Star, Satou Sabally.

According to ESPN’s Kendra Andrews and Alexa Philippou, the Mercury are getting Sabally, Kalani Brown and Sevgi Uzun from the Dallas Wings.

Dallas gets Ty Harris from Phoenix, rights to Mikiah “Kiki” Herbert Harrigan, NaLyssa Smith and this year’s No. 8 pick from the Indiana Fever.

Indiana will receive sharpshooter Sophie Cunningham and the No. 19 pick from Phoenix.

Harris was sent to Phoenix a few days ago in a reported trade that landed Alyssa Thomas to the Mercury from the Connecticut Sun.

Sabally has spent her entire five-year career with the Wings after being selected No. 2 overall in the 2020 WNBA draft.

She made the All-Star team in 2021 and 2023. The latter year, she averaged 18.6 points, 8.1 rebounds 1.8 steals and shot 43.5% from the field, all career highs.

Last year, she only played in 15 games because of a shoulder injury.

But earlier this month, Sabally told the Wings that she had played her final game in Dallas and was ready to move on.

There were rumors she might head to the New York Liberty, since that’s where her sister Nyara plays.

The Mercury now have their own “Big 3,” with Sabally, three-time All-WNBA forward Thomas, and four-time All-Star Kahleah Copper, who was acquired in a trade last year from the Chicago Sky.

Cunningham played her entire WNBA career with the Mercury after being drafted 13th overall in the 2019 draft. She’ll be in the Fever backcourt with phenom Caitlin Clark.

Cunningham is fourth in three-pointers and ninth in points scored in Mercury franchise history.

She’s analyzed Phoenix Suns games during the offseason.

For the Mercury, they’re still waiting for legend Diana Taurasi to decide whether she’s going to retire or not. The team has already lost 10-time All-Star Brittney Griner to free agency. She signed with the Atlanta Dream on a one-year deal after playing 11 seasons with the Mercury.
