PHOENIX (AZFamily) — According to the CDC, nearly one in 45 adults in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism.

During Autism Awareness Month, Arizona’s Family is visiting a clothing shop and event space that is creating connections within the neurodivergent community, and that’s something good!

Briana Groff started Inclusive Neuroverse with her autistic son, who also has ADHD, after he was treated differently and faced bullying in school. She wanted to fill a gap in the community where everyone can feel like they belong.

The business is described as a fully neurodivergent and autistic-run business that Groff founded as a safe space for others to feel seen, supported and celebrated. Its trademark is “Be a Buddy, Not a Bully.”

Inclusive Neuroverse also sells inclusive apparel and gifts that promote acceptance and neurodiversity. All designs are created by Groff, her son or other neurodivergent artists.

To celebrate its grand opening, Inclusive Neuroverse is hosting an open house this Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. It’s located at 2301 W. Dunlap Avenue, Suite 208 in Phoenix, just east of I-17.
