Buckeye resource center offering free programs for expecting parents, families
Something Good is sponsored by Global Credit Union
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Raising a family is not easy, and some parents say the first few years of parenting are especially hard. However, it’s Something Good when a West Valley school district offers a center designed to help out parents.
In partnership with the nonprofit First Things First, the Buckeye Family Resource Center offers support to expecting parents and families with children ages 0 to 5. They offer a variety of free programs and resources focused on early learning, literacy and building strong community connections.
Their mission is to help children thrive and families succeed. From classes to valuable services like parenting workshops, car seat checks, and help with filing taxes, everything is free to the families in the Buckeye Elementary School District.
The center also has an employment board and gives access to laptops.
Thank you to the Buckeye Family Resource Center for doing Something Good!
