TJ Sport offers stylish golf apparel for Arizona’s hot, sunny climate
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — TJ Sport was created by two optometrists who share a love of golf.
Tara Ransdell and her husband Jason recognized a missing ingredient in their game: quality, stylish, and functional apparel for Arizona’s hot, sunny climate.
Determined to fill this gap, they spent a year researching fabrics, designs, and production options. After countless hours of hard work, they received their first line of apparel and introduced their golf tops, joggers, skirts, shorts, jackets and more to the public.
The journey of building a business from the ground up wasn’t easy. Breaking into country clubs and spreading the word about TJ Sport took time and persistence.
However, as their apparel gained traction and their reputation grew, Tara and Jason realized their side hustle had the potential to become much more than just a passion project.
Today, while they continue to see patients at Petelin Vision in the Valley, Tara and Jason dedicate much of their time to TJ Sport, curating golf apparel that makes players feel confident and comfortable on the course.
