PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Mixela is a community midtown aperitivo bar.
Mixela means the mix or a blend, and that is who the owners, Valentina and Chef Gian Franco, say they are as people and as a business. Mixela specializes in small plates and crudos with a South American flair and also serves beer, wine and spritz cocktails.
Their menu is a collection of things Valentina and Chef Gian like to eat from all over the world, from their travels to their backgrounds and heritage. You’ll find imported cheese, sushi, empanadas, meatballs, and more on the eclectic and delicious menu.
The Francos chose the 24th Street and Osborn area because they believe in their community. They love their neighborhood and want Mixela to become a gathering point for the area’s residents.
