Fun-loving Reyes has a blast at slide park, looking for family to call his own
CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — Eleven-year-old Reyes loves to have fun and explore everything.
In fact, before Arizona’s Family got to the slides at Slick City in Chandler, he wanted to check out our camera equipment and try his hand as a reporter.
“Hello guys, how are you doing at the trampoline park,” he said with a smile.
Josie Gaieck is with AASK, the adoption agency partner, and said Reyes would bring so much love to any family he joins.
“He needs a family that is going to be in tune to the needs that he has,” she said. “He does great with other children, so whether this a family looking to add their first child, or their second or third he’s going to have a really great time.”
This energetic kid loves animals, especially dogs.
After Reyes hiked to one of the tallest slides at the park, he headed down with Ian Schwartz.
“He loves to see how things work,” Gaieck said. “He likes to take things apart and put them back together, hes a really inquisitive boy.”
After the slides, it was off to the games, where Reyes quickly won some candy.
Gaieck said Reyes would do well in almost any family, especially one that allows him to explore his culture.
“He would like to learn more about his hispanic roots,” she said. “So either a family that is hispanic or willing to nurture that side of his culture would be a great fit.”
