15-year-old Arely loves doing hair and gets tour of beauty school
The teenager wants to be a cosmetologist when she grows up.
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Arely got to hang with the pros and learn all about hair, makeup, nails and her favorite, lashes, at Turning Point Beauty College in Phoenix when she got a behind-the-scenes tour.
Instructor Alex Goss started with some of the basics with this 15-year-old, who loves doing hair and makeup for people she knows.
“All my friends’ graduation,” the shy teen said. “I do all my friends’ hair and makeup, and they liked it.”
Alex saw that Arely was a quick learner and said she could easily have a future behind one of these chairs.
“You did it! That looks good,” she said.
Arely said her hobbies include hanging with friends, listening to music and of course watching TikTok videos about hair and makeup.
When she grows up, she wants to be a cosmetologist.
“That’s really good, that means you have it in you, the beautician in you,” Goss said.
Arely said when it comes to adoption, she would be happy in any family.
She got to see all aspects of the beauty business on her visit.
Alex said this is a great way to learn about the world of cosmetology and how to make a living doing it.
“Having the hands-on practice is what matters,” she said. “So coming to a school benefits that.”
Arely hopes to be back here soon one day to take classes and eventually as a professional helping to make people look great.
