PHOENIX (AZFamily) —Once he was suited up with a helmet and car number 16, Colter was ready to fly!

The kind teenager got to zip around the track at Andretti Indoor Karting and Games in Chandler. “My heart was racing,” he said as he entered the expansive place. “It’s pretty cool!”

Colter is an active teenager who has tons of hobbies. “Football, video games,” he said. “Sometimes I play basketball.”

He loves trying new things and racing around on the track was no different.

Colter likes music, rap, and anything with a good beat.

He says he does not love school but gets good grades. “I like video games,” Colter said. “Some time to myself, too.”

He said he is not too picky when it comes to finding a family to call his own.

“I love pets, and I love big families,” he said.

Colter said he would do well in almost any family as long as they give him the basics every child deserves.

“Respect, love,” he added.

He said he would bring the same to any family he joins and his sense of humor.

Colter says he cannot wait to join a family and start making memories.
