How to make a cherry cobbler using a boxed scone mix

Sprouts is celebrating its Cherry Festival; so they joined us to help make a cherry cobbler using boxed scone mix
WHAT YOU’LL NEED | HOW MUCH YOU’LL NEED |

Sprouts Dark Chocolate Cherry Chip Scone Mix | 1 box |
Sprouts Whole Dark Cherries (frozen) | 2 each 12 oz packages |
Corn Starch | ½ cup |
Lemon | 1 ea |
Powdered Sugar | 1 tablespoon |
PREPARATION
- Preheat your oven to 375*F.
- Place your cherries into a bowl and coat with the vanilla, lemon juice, sugar and corn starch.
- Per the box instructions, prepare your scone mix. Once your scone dough is ready cut into 2″-3″ pieces and place across the top of your cherry mixture.
- Bake the cobbler for 40-45 minutes until scones are firm and cherry filling has thickened.
- Let rest for 5-10 minutes and dust with powdered sugar

Yields 1 9″ scone topped cobbler
Fresh cherries can be used when they are at peak season and sub out 1-1
