Pete Mangione
First Alert Weather Meteorologist
Arizona's Family

Pete’s love of weather started at a very young age while growing up in Denver, Colorado. One of his earliest memories is the Christmas Eve Blizzard of 1982 which brought over 2 feet of snow to Denver.
After earning a master’s degree in meteorology from Penn State in 2004, Pete worked as a meteorologist at KIVI-TV in Boise Idaho followed by 13 years at WPRI-TV in Providence, Rhode Island.
From 2021 to 2024, Pete worked as a meteorologist for Gro Intelligence, a climate risk company specializing in agriculture data.
Pete is excited to forecast the weather in Arizona, especially during the monsoon season! He enjoys skiing, golf, and sitting through frustrating performances from the Denver Broncos.
