Woman hit by train near PHX Arena in downtown Phoenix
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A woman is fighting for her life after being hit by a train in downtown Phoenix late Tuesday night.
Police responded to the incident around 11 p.m. at 1st Street and Jackson Avenue, which is at the southwest corner of PHX Arena.
Officers found the woman who had been hit by a train, and firefighters took her to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Detectives responded for an on-scene investigation, which has now been completed with all roads reopened.
No additional information was provided. This remains an ongoing investigation.
