Woman hospitalized after shooting in north Phoenix
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A woman is in the hospital after a shooting in north Phoenix on Monday night.
Police responded around 8:30 p.m. to the area of 7th Street and Union Hills Drive for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a woman who had been shot inside a vehicle. The vehicle she was in was reported stolen, police say.
Phoenix Fire crews responded and transported the woman to the hospital, and her injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening.
Detectives are still piecing together what led up to this shooting. The woman’s name has not been released, and no arrests have been made.
