MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and it’s Something Good and delicious when a local bakery helps students show love for their teachers.

On Tuesday, Sassy’s Bakery, located near Main Street and Greenfield Road in Mesa, visited the Academy with Community Partner to help students give back to their educators.

The bakery helped students make cinnamon rolls to celebrate their teachers with the gift of food!

“I’m grateful to be a partner with this school and to give back to these students and more importantly this week being Teacher Appreciation Week, really showing the staff how much appreciation we have for what they do for these kids,” said Melody Larsen from Sassy’s Bakery.

One student said her teachers always try to get to know her, give her advice, and be her friend and educator. “They help me really grow into who I am today,” she said.
