Dump truck rollover prompts lane closures on I-10 in Tempe
TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — Drivers in the East Valley may face some delays on Tuesday morning commutes after a dump truck rolled over on Interstate 10.
The crash happened on the I-10 Collector-Distributor freeway near Baseline Road in Tempe. A dump truck could be seen on its side with its contents spilled on the freeway.
Arizona Department of Public Safety officials said only minor injuries were reported in the crash.
The I-10 Collector-Distributor ramp is blocked in the area as crews respond and work to clear the road. Drivers should use Baseline Road to access I-10.
It’s unknown how long the closure will remain in place.
