GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — More than a hundred people gathered outside the El Camaron Gigante Tuesday night for a vigil in honor of 21-year-old Milo Suniga.

Suniga is one of three men police said were killed in a mass shooting at a concert outside the restaurant Sunday night.

Near a memorial for Suniga, loved ones and people from the Lowrider community embraced each other. His friends described him as loyal and someone who would do anything to help another person in need.

One of Suniga’s friends, Robert Mandell, said they were more like brothers and had planned to have a fun night at the concert.

“It was a family event. We were happy. We were having fun the whole night. I’m just glad at least our last moments together we were having a lot of fun,” said Mandell.

Investigators believe an argument broke out before more than one person started shooting. Arizona’s Family obtained new video from a witness when the fight broke out, and soon after, shots were fired.

Mandell said Suniga had tried to break up the fight, and helped save someone’s life before getting shot.

“There’s a lot of things running through my mind. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. I probably won’t be able to for a long time,” said Mandell.

Police said two brothers were also killed: 21-year-old Christopher Sproule and 17-year-old Damien Sproule. So far, no arrests have been made.

Police have also created a portal where witnesses can anonymously submit photos and videos. Click/tap here to learn more.
