Driver killed in crash on Loop 101 in Peoria

PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — A woman is dead after a crash overnight on the Loop 101 in Peoria.
Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the crash around 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday on the Loop 101 Agua Fria freeway near Thunderbird Road.
Troopers at the scene confirmed to Arizona’s Family that a woman who was driving a car involved in the crash was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash blocked one lane and the Thunderbird on-ramp overnight, but the freeway has since completely reopened.
