Woman killed in Glendale stabbing identified; police searching for suspect
GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Police have released the name of a woman who died following a stabbing in Glendale late Monday night.
She’s been identified as 62-year-old Judy Lopez of Phoenix.

Glendale Police said officers responded to calls of a person stabbed around 9:15 p.m. near 83rd Avenue and Cardinals Way, which is just southeast of State Farm Stadium.
Officers at the scene found Lopez with at least one stab wound. She was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
Police say detectives have confirmed through family that Lopez was not a transient.
A suspect has not been found or identified. This investigation is ongoing.
Police said several cars traveled through the intersection around the time of the stabbing, and there were other people in the area. Anyone with information that could help in the search for a suspect should call Glendale Police at 623-930-3000.
