1 person critical after multi-vehicle hit-and-run crash south of Wittmann
WITTMANN, AZ (AZFamily) —One person is in critical condition, and another is hurt after a multi-vehicle crash south of Wittmann. Authorities are still searching for one of the drivers involved.
The crash happened on Sunday around 12:38 a.m. near 243rd Avenue and Sun Valley Parkway. Deputies with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office were called to a two-vehicle collision, with one of the cars rolled over.
MCSO says a third car hit the overturned vehicle after the initial crash and drove away. Two people were taken to the hospital; one person had life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
