GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Get ready to see which college football stars the Arizona Cardinals will choose to join the squad at this year’s NFL Draft.

The team is hosting the 2025 NFL Draft party on Thursday, April 24, on the Great Lawn outside of the State Farm Stadium. The Red Birds have the 16th overall pick in the draft, and many are already casting their predictions on who the team will choose.

Popular players included in some Cardinals’ mock drafts include Ohio State offensive tackle Josh Simmons, Georgia edge Mykel Williams, Michigan cornerback Will Johnson and Texas offensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr.

Cardinals 2025 Draft Picks:

  • Round 1: No. 16 overall
  • Round 2: No. 47 overall
  • Round 3: No. 78 overall
  • Round 4: No. 115 overall
  • Round 5: No. 152 overall
  • Round 7: No. 225 overall (from Jets through Chiefs)

Some Cardinals fans have been vocal about the team drafting Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo in the later rounds. In 2024, Skattebo broke out for over 1,700 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns.

Others have predicted the Sun Devil will be drafted to the Detroit Lions or Kansas City Chiefs.

Another name to look out for in the draft is Tetairoa McMillan of the University of Arizona. Some have predicted McMillan will be drafted within the top 10. Possible destinations for the Wildcat have included the Jacksonville Jaguars or New Orleans Saints.

McMillan has already made history as a Wildcat. His career 3,423 yards are the most in program history, and he ranks among top five in total receptions and touchdowns for the university.

Another Arizona native that could be drafted in the first round is Hamilton High School alum Tyler Shough, the now-quarterback of the Louisville Cardinals.

The lawn opens at 4 p.m., and the draft kicks off at 5 p.m.

The party will be hosted by Cardinals’ legend Adrian Wilson and team reporter/host Paul Calvisi. Fans can meet Cardinals’ players, take photos with Big Red and team cheerleaders, all while watching live draft coverage on the giant video board.

Food and drinks will be available on-site and at local food trucks. To end the night, fans can kick back, relax and watch the post-draft fireworks show.

While parking and tickets are free, guests are still required to download digital tickets to get into the party. Fans can get up to four free tickets. Reserve your ticket now by clicking here.

Parking will be available in the west and west preferred carparks, off of 95th Avenue between Cardinals Way and Maryland Avenue. Parking will open to fans beginning at 3:30 p.m.
