PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Arizona Humane Society is facing a supply shortage and is asking the public for donations to help its animals during this season of giving.

They are asking for supplies like dog and cat food, puppy pads, and other necessities so shelter animals like mama dog Love and her seven puppies can receive necessary care.

Love and her pups were found tethered to a car last month. Love was found emaciated, but the family was healthy.

After a couple of weeks of treatment in AHS' Mutternity Suites for nursing and pregnant mama dogs and their pups, the family is now looking for a loving foster home until they are cleared for adoption.
