PHOENIX (AZFamily)— Are you looking for a furry friend? The Arizona Humane Society says one of its adult dogs is searching for a home after spending over 100 days in the shelter.

Eisenhower, an 8-year-old American bulldog mix, was brought in as an injured stray in November. He was treated for skin allergies and an ear infection. However, this gentle giant has been at the shelter since then.

The friendly pooch has “a heart as large as his paws” and loves to be active, such as hiking outdoors, going on car rides, or just cuddling on the couch.

AHS says he went on multiple doggy field trips to find his forever family, but unfortunately, they didn’t work out.

Eisenhower is neutered and available for adoption at AHS’ South Mountain Campus.

Adoption fees are waived on dogs from Wednesday to Sunday, thanks to the BISSELL Pet Foundation.
